Kamena Rally Team at the Poznań Motor Show. Dakar, emotions, and the world of rallying
During this year’s edition of the Poznań Motor Show, one of the most distinctive spaces for motorsport fans will be the Kamena Rally Team zone, prepared in cooperation with the Polaris brand and Radio ESKA. In Hall 6, visitors will be able to see up close both historic rally equipment and modern vehicles competing in the world’s toughest rallies.
The centerpiece of the display will be the legendary DAF BULL truck – a machine that has permanently etched its place in the history of the Dakar Rally. This exceptional vehicle, equipped with two engines and known for its impressive performance, is not just a museum exhibit. It was this very truck that Kamena Rally Team used to win the Dakar Classic 2026, proving that the legend still has tremendous competitive potential.
“It’s an incredible feeling to win the Dakar Classic with this very vehicle. The DAF BULL is a piece of history, but also a huge challenge to drive. This result tastes even better because it shows that this legend can still win,” says Tomek Białkowski.
Alongside the historic truck, the Polaris RZR PRO R rally vehicle will also be presented, which the team uses to compete in the FIA World Cup 2026. It is an example of modern technology and a machine built for the toughest routes – from desert dunes to technical off-road sections. The display will be complemented by UTV vehicles and Polaris machines, which are increasingly present in international off-road rallies.
“Every rally is a completely different challenge – different pace, different conditions, different strategy. That’s why experience and team cohesion are so important. That’s exactly what we’ve been building for years,” emphasizes Darek Baśkiewicz.
Behind the success of Kamena Rally Team are experienced competitors – Tomek Białkowski and Darek Baśkiewicz. This duo has been competing for years in some of the world’s most demanding rallies, such as Dakar in Saudi Arabia and the Baja 1000 in Mexico. Their presence at the stand will be an opportunity for direct meetings with fans and conversations about the behind-the-scenes aspects of competing and preparing for extreme challenges.
The zone in Hall 6 is not just a static exhibition. Visitors will also find a large screen presenting footage from major off-road rallies, including Dakar and Baja 1000. The experience will be enhanced by the presence of Radio ESKA, which will bring energy and additional activities to the stand.
“We want to show people what this world looks like from the inside. Not just the vehicles, but also all the work behind them. It’s great that we can do it right here in Poznań,” adds Białkowski.
